Joe, Inc.
Homepage Version 2.0
(Ten years in the making)

Welcome to my indoor pool (think tank). My name is Joe Botha, this is my personal website, hosted on my workstation, in my office, connected to an ISP in South Africa, I am a founder of.

I live in Cape Town. Cape Town is Rome.. a Tech and Media hub. Silicon Mountain.

This page (if you have not yet guessed) is dedicated to.. me and my interests. It makes up about 50 Gigabytes of content. Mostly photos.

It is and will be a work in progress, a set of notes and dates and thoughts and ideas.. mostly only of interest to me, unless you are enlightened or delusional too, friend.

I'm a start-up junkie.. or a serial entrepreneur and an agent of the Secret Army of the Swimming Animals, Inc. The Frogs and Amoebae. I recently co-founded a company called: Teraco. Busy working on the next big idea.

You could say I'm a bit of an old dog of SA telecoms and open source. I spend a fair amount of time working for industry bodies. I'm Chair of WAPA and the ISPA PR working group.

I'm on my way to becoming the unofficial mayor of geek Cape Town.. :-P
I support (and host) a bunch of non-profit projects, often in some BDFL capacity:
