GeekDinner Logo

A very basic first wiki and planet site for the original geek dinner is up.

Yes, it’s ugly. It will look better soon.

Start tagging your GeekDinner related posts with something like “GeekDinner” so the planet site only fetches the relevant posts from your feed.

example:

http://www.swimgeek.com/blog/category/geekdinner/feed/

Add your GeekDinner feed URL to the wiki.

If you would like to help admin the server.. and you have an idea how a Debian machine works.. and I trust you (or somebody I trust, trusts you) please let me know.

Here I go talking to myself again,
there is also a blog up now.

I’m thinking of using it more as a CMS for the “intro to the GeekDinner idea” than a real blog.

    It needs a skin.

I’ve pointed the co.za version to the wiki :) I’ll sort out the co.za plural one later tonight once I figure out what is going on with TextDrive’s Webmin interface.

    Thanks Jacques

The blog is getting a new skin today.
The wiki and planet still need a bit of work.

A wiki guru should also look at giving the wiki some structure please.

[...] Frogfoot Joe has stepped up to help relaunch the movement after the split. So thankfully I get to be professor emeritus this time, in an advisory capacity, not gritty logistics. whew. Peachy! Think it’s going to be a little more edgy, offbeat & more irreverent than I think we can dare at the respectable 27dinner. We’ll see ;-) [...]
