Chief economist at First National Bank, Dr. Cees Bruggemans told us how the global economy lost a tire recently.. it was a major bump in the road (even if you look at it over a long timeline), yet global financial leaders were quick to respond and he thinks we’ll be back on track very soon.

He was optimistic. A few people who attended the talk commented that he is (often) overly optimistic.
